WE ARE THE DEAD

Does It Offend You, Yeah? have offered up a new track for free to fans, perhaps to couple with their upcoming US trek supporting Bloc Party front-man Kele Okereke on his solo jaunt. The track, “We Are The Dead”, starts out a bit softer than the bands previously jagged jams, but picks up on their characteristically synth-laden sound about a minute in. Zane Lowe recently named the cut the “Hottest Record In The World”. A title he bestows on a couple tracks each week, so it’s not actually THE hottest record in the world, but it is pretty good…

Also, the band is offering remix parts for the song, encouraging fans to download and submit their own remixes.

    If you are going to write a blog at least put up an accurate picture. The band have had five members since may 2009. One member left and two new members joined.One of them happens to be a girl. Sorry, but I am a fan and most fans know this by now.
