Bachelors of Science are two DJ’s from the Bay Area that are out to show audiences that Drum n Bass isn’t “all harsh banging booom tshh,” but can actually be soulful and worth sitting down to listen to. The duo just released their fourth offering, Warehouse Dayz, but recently they’ve been getting more attention for their clever remixes. Their take on The XX’s “Infinity” keeps the minimal vibe going, but varies the rhythm and keeps it more focused. My favorite BoS offering, though, has to be their genius remix of “Brothers on a Hotel Bed” by Death Cab for Cutie. The shimmery vocals, clean drums, and all-around dreamy feel turns a gem of a song into, well, a more polished gem. Listen for yourself, and head over to the band’s website to download Warehouse Dayz.

It’s fascinatingto me that as crucialas beds and anything related to beds are, most people don’t take sufficientcare to make sure they have the properbed setup. For example, I take a lot of effortto make sure I have good support whether it be my bed, or my down comforter, or pillows, but I know people who literally just use any thing! It’s crazy.
