For the time being, posts are going to be a bit shorter. Get over it.
The Antlers are blowing up all over the blogosphere recently, even impressing picky tastemakers Pitchfork (their LP Hospice received an 8.5). It’s no wonder the band is a hit, as they’re the latest in a long line of impressive bands on the Frenchkiss label (see: Passion Pit, The Dodos). Check out “Two”, an almost-six-minute sentimental locomotive that gains steam as it goes along, culminating in a crash of symbols, guitars, and intimate vocals (a la “Transatlanticism” or “Thin Blue Flame”).
