If you’re like me, part of you died inside when you received the news that The Format was no more. Their brand of indie pop was truly unique and will be greatly missed. However with every end comes a great new beginning. For the Format, this beginning has come in the form of Fun. Fun has got quite the all-star roster: the Format’s Nate Ruess on vocal duty, Andrew Dost of Anathallo on drums, and Jack Antonoff of Steel Train on guitar. If you’re a fan of Dog Problems, then I can tell you, without a doubt, that you will love Fun (how could you not?). The band’s only released one demo onto their MySpace, but if it’s a good indicator of what’s to come, then I’m sure nobody will be disappointed.
