New Cloud Cult – When Water Comes to Life

Imagine my excitement upon hearing that not only had the first single off of Cloud Cult’s follow up to 2007’s The Meaning of 8 leaked, but the whole album had leaked. It looked a little something like this. Anyways, check out “When Water Comes to Life, and get ready for Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-Partying Through Tornados), which drops April 8th. This song has sort of an Andrew Bird classical type sound to start, but becomes more familiar with Craig Minowa’s uniquely innocent and soothing voice. This song makes Feel Good Ghosts easily my most anticipated album of early 2008.

Make sure to catch Cloud Cult when they come to your city (I’ll be seeing them here in Madison on April 11th).
